What's the problem?

San Francisco has a problem with youth unemployment. Although it has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, the rate for individuals between the ages of 16-24 who are not in school is 12.4%. Much of the problem is due to the fact that a college education tuition has has gotten too high and out the reach of many.

How can it be solved?

Core SF is a mobile service which offers technology training 2-3 hours day to individuals between the ages of 16-24 in low income neighborhoods around San Francisco. Working together with local businesses, Core SF prepares the youth of the city for entry level positions at many of the city's tech companies.
